I understand what Mark Cuban is going through. I have wanted to publish some of the emails I have received during our rebuild or after some of the trades we made. But I decided to take the high road. There is a lot of keyboard courage out there. This kind of discourse is unacceptable and really beneath human dignity. Please remember that what you write can be very hurtful; and can be traced to you as well.
But…but…but….we’ll never learn the resolution of what happened to the ketchup packets vs. squirt bottle problem!
Seriously, I understand. I was a little bitter too way back, but when someone explained it to me (believe it or not, Dick Patrick) I could tell this was the right move.
On to the Stanley Cup!
Yep, he took it down : http://blogmaverick.com/2008/09/19/i-made-my-point/
Either the link is bad, or Cuban decided to remove it. Content is down now.
No, don’t publish them.
If a reader/fan is crazy enough to send something using “keyboard courage,” then they likely won’t be embarrassed by seeing the item published. In fact, those fools might even be proud and emboldened to carry on.
Fight the good fight and just delete, delete, delete. You use foul language in an e-mail, you don’t deserve to be heard.
Mark Cuban is no Ted Leonsis.
An important lesson to them all – Never cross someone that owns a printing press.
Ted,
I’m the guy that wanted you to consider buying a pro soccer team in the future.
I was actually about to forward you the link to Cuban’s blog post but you beat me to it. I’m a Houston Rockets and St. Louis Blues fan but without a doubt you and Mark Cuban are two of my favourite Pro sports owners and businessmen in the world.
Stupid act by J-HO and even more disgusting reaction by some people. Hopefully there are better people in this world than the type that sent in those emails to Cubes.
Good luck this season w/ the Caps and Wiz.
P.S. Kicking it was quite good. Kudos on the movie.

Ted, we don’t always agree with you. Certainly not on the political side of things. But we do agree, that if disagreements can’t be kept respectable, then there is no place for it. Call them out!
