Thank you. It is heartwarming to me personally to see so much excitement in the blogosphere and with our fan base.
To read quotes such as ”perhaps the most talented team in franchise history” gives me goose bumps. We have a big responsibility to live up to your expectations and we all understand that fact.
But - to date – we haven’t come close to meeting our own expectations. We have miles and miles to go before we sleep.
Ted,
Looking like a great year coming up. My only question is when will we see Peter Bondra’s jersey raised to the rafters? Got my daughter interested in hockey after we moved out here from CA (I’m native MN) and have shared season tickets now for 4-5 years. Go CAPS!!

Talent alone doesn’t mean squat. I certainly hope the Caps aren’t going to rest on their “talent.” If they do, it will be a long season.
Mr. Leonsis:
You and your partners have built a great team and a class organization that is really fun to watch. Thank you, I’m very excited about the upcoming season it will be my third as a season ticket holder and I’ve never been disappointed or felt I wasn’t getting good value for my family’s entertainment dollars. I can’t wait to Rock The Red on Oct. 11th. LETS GO CAPS!!!!
Teddy
I get the feeling you never sleep. You love life & people too much!! The Caps will do great things, as long as they stay healthy, and have a little bit of luck.
The last two times I was this excited about the upcoming Caps season was before 98-99 and 01-02. Of course, the team missed the playoffs those 2 years, so maybe my excitement is a curse…
