Wow - this Canadian journalist is so misinformed. Our team is one of the most covered teams by MSM in the NHL. At last year’s playoff games, we had a SRO press box and YES, we allowed bloggers to join the fray. So the answer is YES - Yes -Yes. Bloggers are welcome into the Capitals press box. Always have been and always will be. It is our responsibility to manage a big tent and welcome anyone who will generate pixels for the team.

Probably the Dumbest Blog Post Ever
Tuesday, October 21st, 2008I haven’t shut down my email access. I receive more than 50 emails per day everyday for nine years now. I read them all and I respond to most. I have just asked for a little restraint to stop the in-game complaining and to tone down the demands to me. I just asked for a little courtesy. It wasn’t a dumb idea to publish my email address. I have two addresses as AOL mail allows for sub accounts. My Washingtoncaps@aol.com email address is well known. People don’t email me at my personal address on Capitals matters and I will always read and respond to my email. This wasn’t a PR ploy. I listen and interact with our fans as a way to learn what works and what doesn’t and I enjoy being a fan myself.
