It’s fantastic that Hershey is so dominating. This goes far in proving the development plan you and GMGM created. Kudos for sticking to it through the lean years. This does pose interesting “problems” in getting those players into the NHL, though.
I do have a complaint, though. While I think it is safe to say that everyone lauds the NHL and the teams in their efforts to fight cancer, do we have to look at Cindy Crysby? I wonder how much more in donations would be generated if each team could put their star(s) in his/her place.
The Bears can put an NHL calibre five-player line-up on the ice:
C – Laing
F – Bourque, Osala
D – Alzner, Lepisto
All of these guys could be in the NHL right now if not for the organization they’re with. The Bears, right now, have to be the team to beat for the Calder Cup.
