Yikes…24 More Friends and I Blow up Facebook…

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

What happens when I hit 5,000 friends on Facebook?

Does the world end? Does my account get suspended?

Do I have to go and delete friends now?

Do I have to stop admitting friends to my list?

What should I do?

Wizards Season About to Start

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

Best of luck and best wishes to Mr. Abe Pollin and the Washington Wizards. We are very happy partners in this NBA franchise and we believe in the team and its management. The team has become a perennial playoff team and is very popular with its fan base and around the league. They are a gritty and tough team having to overcome lots of injuries year after year.

The team starts the year without two starters but we are all optimistic that we can play well; qualify for the playoffs; get Gilbert Arenas back into the lineup; and compete for a NBA crown.

Mainstream Media

Read this column. Wow. It echoes what many feel about mainstream media; its cultural biases; and its role in how it presents the news. Michael Malone is a brave man penning what many people think. Wonder how he will get treated now in newsrooms all over the industry?

Family First

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

We encouraged Alex Ovechkin to be with his family in Russia. We will miss him but he is doing the right thing in the right way. I have lost all of my grandparents and my mom and dad. I have high levels of empathy for how much people miss their closest relatives once they are gone.I hope we can all respect Alex’s privacy and pray for a speedy recovery for his grandfather and for peace of mind for the family. The family and Alex are in our thoughts and prayers.
