Blame me or blame Comcast SportsNet but OFB is off the air. It is all part of a dark and sinister plot that we have hatched.
Can you imagine if the Washington Post didn’t publish for a few days because of printing press issues? We all have miles to go before we sleep in the blogosphere but I’m looking forward to a full restoration of service at OFB. We miss you.
The Bruins used to have a rink that didn’t function, the Whale had a rink that had a roof that collapsed….Not that we want to be compared to the Bruins or the Whalers!
You think OFB’s having problems, have you tried NHL.com’s GameCenter preview this evening? It’s dead in the water…

Ted,
Speaking of OFB they posted that great article Bill Clement did on Fedorov. Great article pointing out he is one of the greats of all time.
I would humbley request that whenever Feds decides to retire (hopefully after a Caps Stanley Cup victory) we find some way to get him on the coaching staff. Given his extensive knowledge of the game and his relationship with Ovie, Semin and others it would make so much sense.
Thanks for Ted’s Take.
As you can imagine, each of us has a few more gray hairs than we did a week ago. It’s been an incredibly frustrating experience, and both the duration and severity of the outage was completely unexpected for what was supposed to be a simple change by our service provider. We really appreciate your wishes for a speedy recovery!
Thanks Ted. We appreciate the kind words.
Needless to say we are quite frustrated. We’ve been hit with the perfect storm of a slow conversion to a new backend on a monster fast server and absolutely poor service on the legacy server. Unfortunately, it is out of our hands. We have to wait like everyone else.
Perhaps a company that provides reliable hosting paired with excellent customer service would be a good entry into the market. (hint hint)
