I Voted

I voted. My wife voted too.

I hope you will all get out and vote. If you don’t, don’t whine or complain. Being able to vote and be involved in politics is a uniquely democratic experience.

We are fortunate as a people to be able to vote. Stating the obvious - get out the vote – every vote counts.

  1. The “sky is falling” people on both sides of the voting need to relax and get a grip.
Obama isnt going to destroy the country or stand by as someone else does.
McCain isnt going to put old people out on the streets or go picking fights with other countries.
Whomever wins will do their best and they are going to need a lot of help, not the continued hate filled bipartisanship we have seen the last 20 years.

I wonder though, isnt it an American’s freedom of choice not to vote? Surely not the wisest of freedoms, but a freedom nonetheless?

I plan to vote Tuesday, and my wife plans to cancel out my vote… gotta love America! :)

  2. Ted i hope you voted for my future and the future of liberty and capitalism. I am however going to have to cancell my caps season tickets if obama wins.. i won’t beable to afford them nor do i want to be in D.C. when the first dirty bomb goes off.

  3. Amen Ted! I totally agree with your sentiments, to me there nothing more patriotic than voting. So go out their people and vote for your candidate.
