If you had the chance to see this game last night, you were treated to NHL hockey at its finest. There was great teamwork; great skating; uber intensity; and big stars. It was an OT win for the Penguins in a strangely quiet and sad-looking Detroit arena as the local economy takes its toll.
But I have to say, that was quite the hockey game last night.
I agree – what a game! I haven’t seen one that exciting in awhile. I was a little disappointed the Penguins won (I never thought I’d root for the Wings, haha), but it was definitely worth the watch.
It’s shame that the Wings couldn’t hold a 5-2 lead in the third. Hopefully the two points the Penguins were handed won’t come back to bite the Caps in terms of playoff seeding…
Like two boxers trading punches. The Pens will be the Caps regular season litmus test.
And the rest of the country will look like Detroit, if President-elect Obama keeps taking advice from Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm. She makes Sarah Palin look like Mensa member. WHAT IS BARACK THINKING???
I watched Price shutout the Senators.
