Despite the Bad Economy

It seems that people want to escape and go see films at theaters and go to hockey games too as we were very close to a sellout this past Friday at the Caps vs. Devils game.

My family went to see the new James Bond movie on Saturday afternoon. The theater was sold out. Shows were sold out. The Mall was packed. There was no place to park. Dining establishments were overbooked too.

Here is my film review for Quantum of Solace: James Bond drives fast; James shoots people; people die. James drives a boat fast; James shoots people; people die. James runs fast; James shoots people; people die. James looks good. His suits get dirty but they don’t rip.

We loved the film though. Go escape the bad news. Go see a movie. And then head to the games. Go Caps!

  1. I just hope its not the usual credit card spending which I suspect is the main source of funds today.

  2. Tysons was packed yesterday, and it’s only mid-November. Folks were carrying shopping bags too, so I hope that’s a good sign!
