Many of us all live so close to Arlington National Cemetery. It is a sacred place and truly a field of honor. Here is a great film on that final resting place of so many brave Americans. And thank you to the Washington Post for snagging the widget and streaming the film.

My father was honored with a burial at Arlington. Knowing his story, the relevance of every headstone becomes more apparent.
The preparation that takes place was a detail that I had given no thought to. Perhaps because every detail had been taken into account and the service was seamless.
