Bad Luck on Injuries

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

This is getting tough to take. Semin, Fedorov, Green, Schultz, Gordon, Erskine and we should never forget that Brian Pothier is still on the team and injured as well.

We will regroup after a day off. Playing four games on the road in six nights with an injury depleted team is tough but there is no crying and whining allowed in hockey. The team has to suck it up. We need to bring up some reserves and get back at it come Wednesday night.

His radio show is a hit with fans and he is very honest and open during these sessions. Transparency and communicating with fans and the industry is a great trait of a leader. Read this article. Well done.

2666

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

Yep. I bought the book 2666, the new masterpiece by Roberto Bolano. It is 900 pages long and I intend to finish it by year end. His last book The Savage Detectives was mind-blowing.

He is a great writer and sadly he just passed away. This book, from what I have heard from friends and read from critics, is a “cosmic genre redefining piece of work”. Check it out if you are brave and have the fortitude to get intellectually challenged.
