Some Perspective on Our D Men Tonight

We pay – collectively - the six starting D men this evening what we pay Mike Green.

Our D is missing Green, Schultz, Poti, Erskine and on an ongoing basis Pothier.

We are missing five key starting defensemen for our club and if you add in Fedorov, who can also play defense, you can see how shorthanded we have become on the blue line.

But the plan won’t have worked until we win a Stanley Cup. That is the deliverable and what we are here to do. We will keep at it until we can become a true world class operation. That is our plan and commitment. We appreciate the very nice column.

I do seem to remember you not being very supportive of the rebuild idea and concept so this article is very encouraging to me and our franchise. Thank you.
