Here is a remarkable documentary about gay athletes. It is very thought provoking and worth watching this weekend courtesy of SnagFilms. SnagFilms now has 510 films in its library up from 225 at launch.

Wizards Get Younger and Healthier

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

This is a good trade - on paper.

The back court is upgraded. The teams get experienced scoring; a more youthful back court prospect; and a jolt of new energy.

The team had the lowest scoring back court in the NBA with Gilbert Arenas out. Now it can rack up points and hold the tide until Arenas comes back from injury.

ESPN had this story on its front page yesterday at 2:00 pm. I then received a call from George Bodenheimer, the CEO of ESPN. He is considered the most powerful man in sports. He said he was calling “with no agenda, no reason - just to say hello and thinking of you.”

How great is that? Is that a life and business lesson? A CEO of a company calls just to say hello and talk? No sales pitch. No request. Just a catch up call. It is very classy and quite impressive in this day and age.

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

Here is a very well made film on old vs. new and a family’s search for meaning juxtaposing tradition vs. modern realities.

These great little films are so meaningful during these tough times. They are free films to help you learn about the world around us and put things in perspective. Check it out here on SnagFilms.
