Got a Call From a Friend, a Media Exec Who Was at the Game Last Night

New Yorkers are all talking about last night’s game and Alex Ovechkin. Do you realize he took 27 shots with 13 on net last night? Friends are saying Alex is the talk of the town a la LeBron James after a recent Knicks game except Alex is signed with us for 13 years so Rangers fans can’t have fantasies about his playing on Broadway any time soon.

Good for us and good for Alex. I am truly flattered.

  1. New Yorkers can take comfort in knowing that Alex will play Broadway twice every season. If that isn’t enough for them, they are welcome to buy tickets at VC.

  2. My brother (an avid Rangers fan) has not had the pleasure of watching Ovie, like I (season tix holder) does. We watched the game together, he was cussing how much he hated Ovie even as the Rangers were leading 4-1. I realized how others see Ovie, (green with envy, that is a CAPS) and how proud I was!!! It was an amazing game where Ovie made us all proud! Thank you Ted for keeping out boy in town for 13 years.

  3. If Yankee ownership could, they’d try to buy a Stanley Cup too..

Baseball? great game – played on a terribly unfair field.

    Go CAP (S)
