A good read here, a great long term perspective.
I read today that USA Today gave us a B+ grade for the season so far. We all want to be A+ students so we have work still left to do.
By the way, I give USA Today a C- grade for being a petroleum based product that is shrinking and laying off people. If they can grade everyone whenever they want, we can grade them back, right?
The USA today gives the Caps a B+ …thats great Ted , a B+ for the regular season ..let’s get the ” A+ ” in the playoffs ….P.S. Thank you again for not overpaying Cristobal Huet!
good one ted–very funny
btw–i grade your blog this year A-……the blogger’s efforts are great….good hands(really fingers)and very tough in the corners, but a little thin skinned as sometimes posters/emailers get to him, needs to toughen up mentally and grade with go up to an A….if posters add some more humour blog can get up to an A+
Well done Ted, you should be very pleased with 2008, I know I am. Here is wishing you and yours a happy and healthy new year from the beaches of Belize! I found some nice 2009 reading on the message board for ya, good to see folks getting some credit where it is (over)due. http://boards.washingtoncaps.com/index.php?showtopic=80537
The b+ grade may be a fair evaluation considering our road record (grade c/c+ for our level of play)against our home record (a++++++). It is about wins and losses.
I like how we are embracing our history…History is not a word much associated with the Caps, but I think we got some to be very proud of…next we make some!
