We are all sad. We lost 3-0 at home last night to FALL to 18-2-1. My email is as you would expect today: trade this guy; fire that guy; bench this guy; play that video; call the league on the refs, etc. etc.

We took about 80 shots on goal, 45 or so that hit the goaltender and the rest that were blocked by teammates of Mason. Young Mr. Mason is in a zone. That is his 6th shutout of the year as a backup.

Columbus plays a Ken Hitchcock like trap. It is very effective as they have shut us out twice this season.

We also had a bit of bad luck with Boyd Gordon injuring himself in warm ups and it was too late to get another player to replace him on the ice. Just an odd game all around.

You can’t win them all and we can’t think too much about what might have been as we play tonight in Montreal in another big game. Chill.
