Perhaps the most influential business exec of the last 25 years, Steve Jobs, stepped down from the helm of Apple last evening.

This is a shocking development but Steve is a family man and needs the time to recoup, get strong and to spend true quality time with his family.

I first met Steve Jobs in 1979. He is a true dedicated genius, one of the few people that I would call a great generational thinker. At a time like this, we should all collectively thank him for all he has done for consumers and the industry and wish him Godspeed and to get well soon.
