I think he is pulling an Andy Kaufman on us all and is making a documentary to out the folks and cynics. He is a talented man; a great actor; and I am sure this is all a farce.
Time will tell if I am right but that is my bet. Joaquin Phoenix is reinventing himself for his art and for his film.

I met a peer from NYC at the Capitol on the 20th who told me about that; said Joaquin and Casey Affleck were in town and working on the doc. I think Joaquin may have had a shoe in G-town on the 19th.
