Thanks for the propaganda. We are earning it and appreciate it. And everyone should know that Dan is a vegetarian. He didn’t eat a hot dog with us but I could tell he wanted one!

It IS harder to get up for every game every night.
The schedule is so demanding. We play 3 or 4 games per week and we play back to back games when we travel.
The NHL season is one long grind filled with injuries; bumps; bruises; and mental fatigue.
But we owe it to our fans to play hard every single game. We owe it to our franchise to win as many games as we can. I would like this to be our most successful season ever in terms of points accumulated. We should always strive to have the best record period.
And so we seek motivation; points; validation; and your ongoing support. Thank you.
We have to play exciting hockey. We have to win. We have to compete for a Stanley Cup. We have to win a Stanley Cup one day. That is a fair exchange. We build an exciting successful team. We covet and love our customers and the fans come out in droves and love us back.
Fair. And fair. That is the plan. Thank you Caps fans. Keep on Rockin’ the RED. See you all tonight at Verizon Center!
Wow. I am speechless. Check out this offer. Times have changed. Here is $300 to go away and don’t let the door hit you on your way out!
How nice; how interesting; and how special. Thank you so much. Check this out.
Here is a blog post regarding our efforts to do a very diverse set of programs to reach women who love hockey and the Washington Capitals. We are unique in the NHL in delivering this program. What do you think?

I would like for our arena to feel safe and secure for all fans. Good old-fashion passion and creativity is fine and welcomed from all fans.
However profanity, fighting and verbal abuse is not acceptable from us or from a rival’s fan base. We will do our best to police this at the arena from Verizon Center staff.
I don’t condone the use of props in toilets. I think that crosses the line.
We allow Flyers fans to come together in front of the glass before the game and cheer their team. That is something that we do and it is controversial in that our fans sit in those seats and have to deal with the other teams’ fans before the game.
Last night, I watched as about 100 fans gathered and then started a chant laced with profanity about Alex Ovechkin. I have received numerous complaints and one father left the game immediately with his daughter because he was deeply offended and for that, I sincerely apologize.
We will work hard to make sure that fan behavior is acceptable. Your safety and security are our primary concern at a game.
