The team has been in need of strong veteran leadership ever since Chris Clark went down. The veterans in place do not fit this bill as they are generally the quiet leader by example type. A player such as Bill Guerin, who only cost the Penguins a draft pick, would have been perfect. I believe that the Capitals are set for the future better than any team in the NHL but there are times when the youngsters need help and I believe this season is just such a case. Having said all that, you guys are doing a phenomenal job and I hope I'm wrong about all the above.
