I love my iPod touch device. I listen to music and I play games and have fun with literally hundreds of apps that are available on the iPhone. It is just like an iPhone without having to use the phone. Great design and great packaging. It can handle lots of music and videos and the apps are very cool.
People spend lots of time on the service and integrating mail; messaging; search; and content with functionality still serves consumers well. See this article for data that will surprise you but doesn’t surprise me at all. AOL is still the stickiest service in terms of time spent online.
Check out the new Mahalo home page. The live blog area is very innovative and the news area is deeply enhanced.
I find Mahalo Answers to be top notch too. And the quality of search results is very good.
I have started to use Mahalo more and more for my search needs. Well done Jason!
After last Sunday’s game, many Penguins fans sent me emails with very supportive and funny messages. Most were along the lines of ”Hey Ted! You suck and we can’t wait to play you in the playoffs.”
Well - if the season ended today - guess who we would be playing in the first round? Yep, the Penguins. The Caps would have home ice advantage but according to the Penguins fans, that won’t matter.
I will remain humble. I respect the Penguins and their fan base but as my grandmother always admonished me, “Be careful what you wish for.”
Thanks for the emails. And Go Caps!
Wow! That is all I can say after seeing this film. Amazing production values; amazing story; amazing acting; psychedelic trippy animation; and a script that I didn’t get but I couldn’t NOT watch every scene. The film is agonizingly long but it is a must see. It will be a cult favorite as well as a very popular film with the youth market.
The film is mind-blowing and an event. Check out this info on Wikipedia too for more information on the film. Wow!
I hope the folks that call the Caps radio show all of the time after every game read this blog post.
I hope the hosts of the show read it too.
We wouldn’t want facts to ever get in the way of fans’ opinions though, would we?
Thanks Japers’ for the hard work and the analytics. Jonathan - you are now armed with facts. Dazzle me.
Check out the standing points here. We have 88 points and 14 games left to play and I am still nervous about qualifying for the playoffs.
I remember early in our ownership – before the shootouts - 88 points would get you into the playoffs. One season, I believe we missed making the playoffs by a point with 88 points.
If we play just .500 hockey from here on out, we would finish the regular season with 102 points. I hope that is enough this season to qualify for the playoffs.
Every point counts!
I awoke today to more than 300 emails, 250 plus from Facebook and Twitter as service announcements ”Someone is following me on Twitter.”; “Someone has commented on your status.” I went to my Facebook account and had more than 225 friend requests. I guess the Capitals Red Line show had a tiny segment from me commenting on my Facebook account and friends and folks took that as a cue to join in the social network. Capitals Red Line must get great viewership because the friend requests were instantaneous and large!
I apologize if I cannot let any new friends into my network. As you will see I am at my limit of 5,000 friends. Sometimes the limit goes down as folks leave my network or I delete a friend and I can add someone to my list.
I also am not active on Twitter as I prefer to update my blog on a fairly regular basis. I find Tweets and the space to be used there too confining. I am frankly overwhelmed with connective tissue.
This is exciting news! A new film based in DC being directed by Susan Koch and produced by Sheila Johnson.
