Jumping the Shark?

Whenever the New York Times or Time Magazine say you are important and are peaking, you can bet the opposite is about to happen. Read this article to see why I am concerned.

Facebook is hitting 200 million members with the majority of them being outside of the United States. It reminds me so much of the instant messaging growth patterns of AIM and ICQ back in the mid 90′s or - even before that - chat rooms and message boards on AOL.

Don’t Go Overboard Please

I have received many threatening emails or instant messages and some emails that can be considered quite suspect over the many years of our Washington Capitals ownership.

I even get blog comment postings from people trying to cover their true identity. Please be aware that everything has a digital fingerprint and if you do send something threatening or truly despicable, your identity can be traced back to its eventual source by the authorities.

Only Look Forward Now

OK. Last night’s game is over. It represented a lot of hype. We won. We get two points. We are now in second place in the East with 99 points. We have beaten Tampa ten times in a row. Alex Ovechkin had a decent game, huh? :-)  He was low key. He had 4 points and 2 goals. He reaches 100 points for the third time in his career. He had more hits than any player on both teams, another quality night. :-) Backstrom was dominant too with two goals and an assist and he was a monster on face offs as well.
