Watching Big Joe Finley play will be a delight. He has size. He can skate and he is graduating from college. Good for Joe and good for our fans that can potentially go see him play in the Frozen Four Tournament. Good luck Joe! Hope you make the Final Four.

Go Tom, Go!
Here is a terrific transcript from a chat with Tom Boswell. He addresses the New York Times blogger in a pitch perfect way. Peace in our time. Check it out here.
This is So Smart
It is NOT a layoff. It is not a cutback. It is an “over investment” that is now being corrected to be just an investment.
Best wordsmithing I have seen in a long, long time. Check it out here.
Congrats to AOL ISP
A great vote of confidence here to AOL and its customer support which is ranked #1 in overall customer satisfaction. Read the release here.
I am proud to say that I still use the AOL client about 50 percent of the time. I use AIM, Mapquest, TMZ, AOL Finance and many other AOL core services on an ongoing basis.
Good for SB Nation
SB Nation, of which I am an investor, has done a big deal with USA Today. Check out their polls and widgets and content everywhere. Click here to see an example.

Good News and Bad News
Check out the standings here.
There is good news. And there is bad news.
After last night’s set of games, I believe we have officially clinched a playoff spot. That is terrific and a great relief. We are in the playoffs again two years in a row. Check one tiny thing to do off of the list.

I am truly honored to be considered in this program in two categories. Thank you so much.

Wow, what a subject: Orthodox people who are gay. How do they deal with their culture, religion and god within their tight knit communities? Find out here. Watch this film. It is mind blowing.
No One Knows Nothing
Kudos to Japers’ on this blog post regarding momentum going into the playoffs.
If it was so true, we would have won the Stanley Cup last season as no team was hotter than us entering the playoffs. Home ice helps and I would love to see us move up in the East from 3rd to 2nd or even 1st.
The playoffs start the season anew. The key is to be rested, healthy and confident entering the playoffs and hope for a hot goaltender. Goaltenders can win games in the playoffs for a team single handedly.
I don’t think what is happening to the Capitals, Bruins or Devils right now has any sway on how all of these teams will perform in the playoffs. It is a clean slate. I hope we perform better in the next 7 games compared to our last 7 games. I really do. But at the end of the day, the playoffs start and everyone is 0-0 and a new season begins. So for those of you in total meltdown and “the sky is falling mode” it would be OK to chill just a bit.
