We Lost a Giant
Mr. Davidson was a giant, a lion, a great man with a great soul. He was a winner and a very nice human being.
He also won a Stanley Cup and an NBA and a WNBA championship all in a two year time period.
Wow. That feat may never be repeated. Rest in peace.
Dipsy-Doo
So Facebook wants to be like Twitter now;
And Twitter is the new AIM;
And AIM wanted to be the new Facebook;
And AOL wants to be like Google.
And Yahoo wants to talk to Microsoft.

Winning on the road
I enjoyed the game last night. It was played like a playoff game.
It was an intense game with lots of hitting; lots of drama; lots of ref intervention with two goals called back (one for each team); and our stars eventually shined through in a 2 to 1 win.
A Little Gloating
Human nature is an interesting thing to behold.
I receive an awful lot of email from fans, most from long term passionate fans who have opinions on lots of matters.
When we win, I don’t get a lot of emails. When we lose, I get a ton.

Charles Wang of the New York Islanders
I have big news to report. Charles Wang, my close friend and owner of the Islanders, was the man behind the Oscar-winning Smile Pinki. This film won best documentary short at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony and it is based on his charity called The Smile Train. The Smile Train has helped more than 500,000 children around the world. Charles is a Filmanthropist! A great man doing well by doing good! Way to go Charles.
