Got nothing to do this weekend?

Here is an idea: First, watch this FREE film on SnagFilms.com (click here) about Arlington National Cemetery. It is only 55 minutes long. It is so well made and so honest in its production.

Then go to visit the cemetery. When I was a student at Georgetown University, I would often go and walk through these hallowed grounds. I would look at tombstones; check out history; and try to understand what it meant to serve our country. It is a place of sacrifice and honor.

When my children were growing up, we would go and visit too. You can spend hours walking through the fields. It is a lovely space in DC.

It is free to attend and will occupy a day of your time. You will feel better for it.
