Thanks for the Ink and Pixels
We have never seen this kind of coverage in the Washington Post paper and online. This package of information is the most complete I have ever experienced for a playoff series. We appreciate your investment of time, people resources, ink and pixels in covering our team. Click here to see all of the coverage.
Caps fans - with the Washington Post, Washington Times, Washington Examiner, Baltimore Sun and Comcast – our local TV affiliates and the blogosphere are all humming. There is no shortage of information about the Capitals and this series. Well done all. We appreciate it very much as do our fans.
This high level of interest is another great sign for the team, the community and the fan base. I hope we can live up to the hype.
See What We Are Made of Now
I am so relieved that this day has arrived. The waiting to play a playoff game is always the hardest part.
We can now see where we are in our development as a team and as a franchise starting tonight, Game 1, at Verizon Center. The puck drops at 7:06 pm.
My bet is that this series will be a tough one with lots of ups and downs. It will be a long one too and it will exhaust us all emotionally and physically.
