Orthodox Easter is Celebrated Today

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

Happy Easter my fellow Greeks and Happy Easter Alex Ovechkin and family too.

For many people, today is the true and right date for the celebration of Easter. We follow a bit different schedule based on our beliefs and the following of Old Testament Jewish Rabbis’ scheduling based on Passover. Today we celebrate and eat lamb and break colored eggs.

All drama is based on the Three Great Acts of the Greek Orthodox Drama: Creation, Death and Resurrection.

Production value in the film was top notch and I enjoyed the story even if it was another “Politicians are bad - business people are bad - news journalists are good” themed screenplay.
