We treat the homeless with the dignity they deserve. This is a film about people overcoming great odds to reclaim their lives.
There but by the grace of God go we!

AT&T and Disney are the two most powerful brands on Twitter? Aren’t they two of the most powerful brands period? In old media and in the real world?
Check out this list. I am not sure what it all means but I am surprised that a hot, young, tech-based, leading edge early adopter service would have an old world telephony brand and a kids’ media brand be the two leading brands on the service.
Enlighten me. What does this mean?
Homelessness is a big and ongoing problem in our nation. And with the economy in shambles, it is a growing problem indeed.
In this land of plenty where we offer trillions of dollars to rich people and corporations, to see people living on the street is heart-wrenching. To see people sleeping outside in the cold and the rain just blocks from the Capitol Building and the White House is just plain WRONG!
Wow. I am stunned and honored beyond words. Nanking won a Peabody Award alongside John Adams, Hear and Now, The Gates and Entourage all from HBO. Thank you HBO for the support and love and care.
And thank you to all of the creative talent – Bill Guttentag and Dan Sturman as co-directors - and all of the actors, producers and people associated with this important and emotionally draining yet uplifting film.
I am truly honored and touched to have made this film. I always keep the people of Nanking and Iris Chang in my thoughts and prayers. This recognition goes to them and to the brave people who stayed behind to save so many lives. We were honored to tell your stories. Thank you.
Here is a very in-depth piece on new distribution strategies for documentary filmmakers. The article is very complimentary to SnagFilms. Thank you very much.
Yes, they are coming to DC. They are coming to “burn it all to the ground”.
They are playing the 930 Club next week.
If you don’t know who they are, get with the program and watch one of the great indie films of the last decade, a Sundance winner called Dig, right here on SnagFilms. This film rocks and this is one great band! Dig it. Click here.
Ever wonder why?
Back in the day April 1st, the first day of spring, was considered the New Year.
When the New Year day moved to January 1st, some folks kept to April 1st as the New Year’s beginning and hence they were called April Fools. Of course this all started in France! And it was the handiwork of a King. I kid you not. Here is a link to the Wikipedia page for even more info.
