And it’s all true. We fans love you because you are who you are, and you’ve always been so open with the fans. I’ve had experience with other hockey teams with owners of the care-nothing-for-the-fans variety, and your attitude makes all the difference not only with us but with the team as well. It’s a great organization from the top down.

Love that article and you! How refreshing to be a fan of a team with a caring owner like you! Living in the Baltimore suburbs I can tell you that our football and baseball team do not come close to the appreciation you show to your fans. And we feel the same appreciation towards you. Win or lose we still have you!
Don’t let some fans get to you with their complaints about giveaways and such. I was at my first fan appreciation game last month and didn’t win a thing but thought it was awesome! How generous and fun it was to see people win such amazing prizes. The shirt off our backs contest was great. Everyone was talking about how cool it was. I met a lady in the ladies room who was holding Semin’s jersey and we were all so excited for her that we just laughed and touched it. How fun!
I’m trying to talk my husband into giving up our Ravens PSL’s to become Caps season ticket holders. I would not even think about that if it weren’t for you and your organization. GO CAPS!!

Every word of that is true. My husband and I live just 4 blocks from Verizon Center. We basically moved downtown to be near the Caps, and we’re so glad we did.
