Hershey as Inspiration?

Kudos to the Hershey Bears who were down 3-2 in their series with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Hershey won last night to even the series at 3-3 and force a Game 7.

Game 7 will be played on home ice at Giant Center in Hershey on Tuesday night.

If they can do it, we can too! That is how we need to approach tonight’s game – with confidence and with focus on just the game at hand.

And by the way, both teams here are true warriors having played 4 games in 5 nights. We are truly spoiled in the NHL with our scheduling in comparison.

Wish us well. Send those good vibes our way. We hope to see you all on Wednesday night at Verizon Center. Go Caps! Go Bears!

  1. Ted,

Idea: Get Tom Green down to Verizon for Game 7, at the beginning of the 3rd period zoom in on his face (wearing a caps jersey of course) and have him scream – UNLEASH THE FURY! That would be sooo cool! Pandemonium!

  2. With tonight’s victory, the Caps have now faced 7 elimination games in the playoffs in the last two years, and are 6-1 in those games. Ignore any Pens fans who might want to get in your face and insult the team. The truth is that this team does have character. Yes, they may still have to build up a little more talent, perhaps, on the blue line to get to the Stanley Cup — but much of the essentials needed to get to the Promised Land are now in place. Kudos to you and your staff, Ted.

  3. Thanks for believing in this team and doing everything to build a contender. You’ve done everything you can — the next two games, it’s time for the players to step up. GO CAPS.

  4. Let’s Go Caps! Let’s go Bears!! WE BELIEVE!!!! We did it before, let’s do it again!
