Congratulations Ted!
A regular DC crew in NYC. Laura Linney is wonderful in John Adams; whole series performance driven. I play a Redcoat on the series; shot 90 production days in the Richmond area. Some of the best, involved, and intense stuff I've done (we were training to shoot muskets on the night we shot Boston Massacre scene; black powder; it was a hurry-up as the sun was setting kinda deal, "We do what with the what? Then pull this back? All the way? AIM FIRE!" (much smoke, fire, and loud noises, some screaming and yelling :-0
Prod. was considering shooting in Mass and VA. Neither had any film production incentives to speak of at the time; VA got the nod. Mass took note; next budget, passed such film incentives as to make Boston the cheapest place outside of LA to shoot; cheaper in some cases (this I'm told.) in 2008, about eleven feature films shot in their entirety in Boston alone. VA, MD and DC are not even on the map; not one iota.
I am hopeful VA, with an experienced entrepreneur as governor, may become not only a competitor, but a/the leader. Directors love VA. It's got everything.
Break a Leg, Jeff

Mr Leonsis,

I am the charming gentleman you met in LGA @ the Delta terminal Sunday the 17th. ( Made the Chris Neil suggestion.)

I was incredibly impressed with your demeanor, presence and intelligence in our chat; as brief as it was.

I have my own independent research firm currently & an extensive fundraiser/philanthropy background. I am looking for a change. How can I have a proper interview? I can be of value add in many ways.

I am confident the meeting will be mutually beneficial.

Best,

Scotti M
