Congratulations to the Hershey Bears; winners of the Eastern Conference — and participants now in the Calder Cup Finals. The Bears now move on to play the Manitoba Moose. So — who ya got — Moose or Bear? Click here for info on yesterday’s big win — and how our affiliate in Hershey is really the class act of the AHL. We are so proud of the people in Hershey — Go Bears!
Go Moose Go, moose will beat the bears in 6 games
Ted- I wish we could get these Calder Cup games on TV. I dont believe the ratings would be 0.0, anymore, i think they would be much higher. These are exciting games and i dont mind driving to Hershey for most or listening on the radio but regular cable TV would be great. I dont like having to pay on on line fee to watch it on a computer when the ticket is cheaper.
Bears are going to do it! John Carlson looks like the real deal on the blue line. He’s going to be good. I had the pleasure of watching him during game 1 of the Conference Finals, and he has no fear. Your scouting team and GMGM did an awesome job picking him out. He would have been rated as one of the top 3 defensemen had he been eligible in any other draft year.
Go Bears!! Love the potential on this team and can’t wait to see many of them in Capitals uniforms in the next few years.
Okay this has nothing to do with this post; however i found it amusing. I hope you will too.
Three Canadian blondes died and found themselves standing before St. Peter. He told them that before they could enter the Kingdom, they had to tell him what Easter represented.
The first blonde said, “Easter is a holiday where they have a big feast and we give thanks and eat turkey.”
St. Peter said, “No,” and he banished her to Hell.
The second blonde said, “Easter is when we celebrate Jesus’ birth and exchange gifts.”
St. Peter said, “No,” and he banished her to Hell.
The third blonde said, “Easter is a Christian holiday that coincides with the Jewish festival of Passover. Jesus was having Passover feast with His disciples when He was betrayed by Judas, and the Romans arrested Him. The Romans hung Him on the cross and he died. Then they buried Him in atomb behind a very large boulder…”
St. Peter said, “Very good.”
Then the blonde continued, “Now, every year they roll away the boulder and Jesus comes out. If he sees his shadow, we have six more weeks of hockey.”
I’m thinking the Bears win in 5, but the Moose are a tough bunch up there in Winnipeg….
Go Bears!!
And… go Stingrays!!
This is fantastic, Go Bears! I think I’m more into watching the Calder, this year, than the Stanley!
