Thanks to the Washington Times for reminding us all what a good day June 26th, 2004 was for our franchise. We picked up two prospects who are nominated for MVP and the Norris Trophy tonight. Quite a feat.
Wish Alex Ovechkin and Mike Green luck tonight. They both deserve - I believe - to win their respective categories of awards. Alex had a MVP worthy season again and Mike Green did what no D man in the NHL accomplished - ever - during the season.
We have a fine young core at the heart of our team. We are blessed.

Was just looking over snagfilms; almost jumped out of my seat when saw; Connections - A Film In Progress.
Ohhhh.
Haven’t got into it yet, but is looks like the closest thing to my model for “Levity” that I have seen yet.
Have a good time at ceremony; events and in Vegas.
Break a Leg, Jeff
Amen
Congrats to Alex and Mike for making the All-Star 1st team, and to Alex for the Hart, Pearson, and Richard. Keep up the great work Boss. Nice to see the boys aren’t satisfied even with the accolades. Cheers!
Dear Ted,
Well our young Alex did it again!I love the team, and any of my comments are purely meant to be thought provoking. It is time Alex spoke english better, some mandatory english classes could help many of your key players.Alex could also use a false tooth to wear during interviews and photo shoots.I do not want to change his personalities but you know the NHL is looking for good looks and talent. If you keep Semin, you could use him as a pretty boy if he could speak english.I believe the fans like to watch the players walk down to the dressing room wearing men’s warehouse suits or Macy’s fine suits rather than the old europeon suits some of the boys wear! They can wear their own clothes when they go out,but on game days and projects they should look like they walked out of a Q magazine shoot. They can all afford a few nice suits, just change shirts and ties. Please do not let Mike Green dress himself for the next award ceremony, usually he looks good, someone must have given him a gag tux!
I was also wondering if the players have a spiritual director available to them? Perhaps religion is a personal thing.I only ask because as a Catholic I wondered if those players who were in a state of grace would like to receive eurcharist before a game or at least during the play offs? Thank-you Fran Venckus
