Just saw add for film “The Stepfather” on Myspace login page; compelled to watch trailer. This film is an absolute disaster. As a film; will probably do great at box office, and will be brilliant in construction and design to affect it’s intended purpose. Which is exactly why will be a disaster for us. Wish there was a way to stop it.
I wonder when Americans decided that the films we watch don’t have a profound effect on our minds, behaviors, and society.
It is my estimation that a company like Sony will harm itself over the long run by delivering to us this type of content as a flagship for the entire company. I for one, will be much less likely to buy anything sony; well; I guess till I forget about this film; which I may never.
