ted just now in june iam getting over the hurt of a should have been a caps team that went to represent the eastern conf…but what we got was another almost…maybe next year..first rd..was a tune up..2nd rd..the whole defence was bad..and as the games progressed the goalie was hung out to dry..thats why he looked bad in the last games of the series…to have any shot at this again…the d needs to be revamped..no more scrum around the net getting two and three chances to put it in..there were some players that didnt show up for the second round..but i guess scoreing 30 goals is more important than protecting your end and the net..there were some players that should have not played..there were some that should have..if the d was better we could have taken those first two games against the burgers..and not looked back…is and still the best caps team to date….98caps

I am a long time season tix holder. I have asked you several times to give us your thoughts on Bettman. The majority of NHL fans want him gone. FYI- I watched the NHL awards from Vegas and it was painful. I am not sure how Chaka Khan made it onto the show but they are about 30 yrs late. We need new blood at the top.
Glad to see Ovechkin win his awards but was really hoping to get Green in there.

I am a season ticket holder and proud of your accomplishments. I understand the 2009-2010 schedule will be released the first or second week in July.
Would it possible to have more Saturday night games? For religious reasons, I cannot attend Friday night games. Traditionally, the Canadian cities have always Saturday night games. Now with a 30 team league, there is no reason why the American teams like the Caps could not play more Saturday night games.

I knew Eddie Shore!!!!! (Obligatory rainy Saturday bored out of my mind Slapshot reference). Nice work by Japers. Let’s hope it’s an omen of things to come.
