It was up and down the court with lots of scoring and lots of athleticism. A 93 to 87 loss to the Phoenix and the Mystics learned a lesson last night. We can run and gun with anyone but defense will win games most nights.

Good as this season’s start has been,this team still has defensive weaknesses – too many second-chance baskets allowed in the early going last match. Plenty of time to work on that – but tonight I’m sure the Sky will be looking for revenge after we came back on them this past Saturday – this is the most exciting Mystics season since the latter part of Alana Beard’s rookie season in 2004.
