I am back from The Allen and Co. Sun Valley Conference. I had the best of times. The conference is about networking, family, learning and fun!
Most of the attendees were situated in the media industry; the sports industry; the Internet business; healthcare; and finance and politics. There were many attendees from Washington DC and I was surprised at how many good friends I knew that were at the conference. Most people bring their family members and the feeling of connectedness is palpable. I was really welcomed and felt very comfortable.
It is in an amazing setting. Idaho is a rugged and beautiful land. It is very green with mountain ranges all around you. The air is crisp - no humidity - and it was sunny and warm with a nice chill at night.
The Allen and Company people treat everyone like you are the only individuals they care about. They are focused on your personal needs and they act as unbelievably gracious hosts. This was the best managed conference I have ever attended in my career.
