It was a fun game and a big win last night for the Washington Mystics. We won by a point over the NY Liberty and continue to play good basketball. Our record remains over 500 and we are in the playoff hunt. Click here to read all about it.
We play an entertaining style of basketball. We have a lot of depth and if you haven’t taken in a game, I recommend you consider it. It is a very affordable family event. The crowds are loud and passionate and our players are role models to young women. It is a fun night. I hope to see you all on Tuesday night as we play our next home game at Verizon Center.
I was by the stadium on camp day last week. What a great event. Glad to see all those kids out supporting the Mystics. Glad to see the Mystics building such bridges to kids throughout the region. Great idea
Unfortunately I wasn’t there last night (was at the Freedom/United doubleheader across town) but I read the recap and box-score – the Mystics do make it interesting down the stretch! They simply must work on cutting down turnovers (a factor in a number of their losses) – once they get that squared away, the playoffs should be well within reach.
