A Championship to DC

Congratulations to the Washington Kastles and to Mark Ein. The Kastles are champs and we haven’t had a champ in DC in quite some time. I really enjoy World Team Tennis. It is a fun filled family night of entertainment. The games are fast paced and the athletes are very competitive. Kudos to Mark Ein and his organization. DC United did manage to win the US Open Cup last year. Yea for the Kastles but we must give credit where credit is due.

Yes, it has been a long time…
2007 Washington Freedom, Womens Soccer W-League, won their Championship.
DC United, MLS, 2004, won the MLS cup…

So yeah, it has been a LONG time since DC saw a Championship, if you consider 2 years and 5 years a LONG time…

I love the game and watching Washington Kastles, although a close friend is a player for Freedom. I still enjoy the festivities and the event.
