You will start to see some subtle yet meaningful changes to the Capitals website over the next few months. Some changes are because we are working closely together with the folks at NHL.com and some of our own design. Click here for the first inkling of change.
The new platform promises us more capabilities locally and should also offer the league a better network effect. We also promise to continue to invest in local services; content and video; and to make our website inviting and very interactive and informative.
We are very committed to using our web properties to create an interactive community. Some months we can get 500,000 plus visitors so this media is very important to us.
There will be some changes to the message boards as well but those will roll out at a later date. As ever, let us know what you think. We will do our best to listen and to respond. Go Caps!

New layout isn’t displaying properly on iPhone and using flash for the main promotion area doesn’t work with iPhone either.
I hope the changes in the message boards include getting rid of some of the idiot posters, as well as the incompetent moderators.
on PC firefox 3.0.1.3, I cannot click the click here link, moving near the link causes the philanthropy drop down to display which blocks the link…it works on IE7. go caps!
