Tuesday, August 18th, 2009I was asked to consider being a judge on Shark Tank but I passed. I have met Mark Burnett several times and he thought I would do well on this show.
I thought the commitment was too time intensive and I didn’t want the hyper public scrutiny of being on network television. I watched the show Sunday night and thought it was fun and fairly realistic although most deals take six months to conclude NOT six minutes and they certainly aren’t proposed in an auction kind of environment that favors the businessman not the investor.
So what do you think? Did I make a mistake by not going on the show? Or did I make a wise decision in not going for it? Let me know what you think. Thank you. And check out the show sometime. Good television.

This signing is such great news. It gives the community hope and dreams for a better day. Pitching is how teams win in MLB and this young man looks to be a future historic player.
