Kudos to DC BasketCases. They provide the best coverage of the Washington Mystics. The Mystics are on a brutal West Coast swing playing games at 10:00 pm EST. There is minimal coverage of the games so I find myself turning to this blog for detailed data and analysis of the road trip.
If the season ended today, we would barely qualify for the playoffs. This road trip is a tough one and then we return home for crucial in conference games.We are in quite the playoff race. We play tonight at 10:00 pm again against Seattle. We are in something of a slump of late and we need to play over 500 ball to maintain a playoff pace coming down the stretch.

…will these Mystics EVER put two good games together again? This past Friday they go into Phoenix and beat the Mercury 91-81, absolutely creaming the West leaders on the boards 46-26…then the next day they go to league-worst Sacramento and get walloped by 22…and now here comes Detroit closing ground on us (with two games in hand) and even New York isn’t out of it…we’ve got to stop losing to bottom feeders and we’ve got to develop some consistency…consistency of the good kind, that is!
