A love story about democracy and an anger filled tale against capitalism – I can’t wait to see it.
I also can’t wait to hear that the film will be shown for free and that the movie theater doors will be open to everyone. Popcorn – fresh, hot and buttered – will be delivered to us in our seats by ushers that smile and call us comrade and the bathroom toilets will be ringed with gold, where it belongs.
Here is a trailer. This promises to be the big documentary film this coming season. Kudos to Michael Moore for making lots of money by talking about how bad capitalism is. Is this a great country or what?
Michael - offer the film for free to everyone on SnagFilms. We will split all of our revenues with you 50/50. How is that for sharing and caring? No? Is that because you got a $10 million guaranteed up front payment? Do you know how many documentaries can be made with that kind of up front payment? Share the wealth.
And here is a great piece in the Atlantic also called Capitalism the movie. I remembered this great piece of journalism from a few years back. It is fantastic writing and an interesting point of view. Click here to read it and reap.
It’s great that Moore lives in a country that allows hims to make these slanted documentaries. Do this movies really qualify as documentaries or are they really just warped opinion pieces?
Bashing capitalism lines the pockets of the anti-capitalist. The ultimate paradox. Moore’s a joke. But his schtick sells. I’d like to see his tax returns to find out if he gives well in excess of the minimum charitable deduction. If he’s so into socialism or so against capitalism, I’m sure he has no problem forking over 60-percent of his take-home.
