Guess who sat next to us at dinner on last night at Cafe Milano here in DC?
Helen Mirren - The Queen; the Academy Award winner; actress; and a woman of grace and style. She floated into the place. Everyone stopped talking and stared. She is regal and quite nice. She is in town for a while performing at the Shakespeare Theatre.
I wanted to invite her to tonight’s Washington Capitals game but my wife kicked me under the table at that notion.
Hey Teddy your wife and I have something in common, I am always nudging my husband. But an invite to The Caps Game, now that’s an honor! By the way, I am going to The Caps game at Madison Square Garden and it’s my birthday! I am looking for a cow bell. I will be polite but they will know there is a Caps Fan in the audience. I am wearing my sons signed black and white Ovechkin Jersey. But not to worry, I will be Rocking the Red in my Caps Hat. It is just the beginning of a great season. Thanks Ted!!!!!!!!! Lets Go Caps!!
