Here are predictions on this coming season by people who care; bloggers that follow the team; and the NHL. Thank you for the positive vibes and positive pixels.
My prediction is to expect the unexpected. We may not have as many points as last season. We may not win the division. We need to stay healthy and just qualify for the playoffs. The regular season is now only a prelude to a playoff run for us. We must stay healthy and we must qualify for the playoffs. That is what matters to me most these days.
Once you qualify for the playoffs, then you start anew and nothing matters and carries over from the regular season. Just stay healthy, make the playoffs and then go from there!

Ted could try to do something about the reception on the two radio stations that carry the Caps? I live in northwest Montgomery County and cannot pick up either 820 or 1500 AM after dark. Last year 820 was listenable but not perfect. I called the station(s) and first talked to someone who suggested that I get a better radio which is ludicrous. Then I managed to leave a message on the phone of the engineering department but I have yet to get a return call. I would think that a lot of your fan base lives in Montgomery County.
I am so disappointed in the fact that direct tv has lost versus as a channel and because of this two of the the first three Cap games will not be seen one of which is opening night in Boston. Is there anyway to watch these games besides having comcast? I find it difficult to believe that the NHL would want to upset any of their fans considering they have to beg for fans as it is, this is not a good thing for the NHL. For me and my kids who are die hard Caps fans tis stinks.
