We did look awesome last night. The D kept the shots on Theo to 20 and the Morrison/ Knuble/ Laich line is PHENOMINAL!! Great game against a team that are one of the TOP in the Eastern Conference..
Great way to start the season and I can’t wait for home opener on Saturday night against the Leafs! This should also be a test for the Caps because the only way the Leafs will beat them, is for the game to be very physical with some fights. It will be another test to see how the current line-up can handle that physicality. Might be a good time to recall Sudgen.
The boys looked like they meant business last night. Jose was very solid early on, then the Caps took over the game. Anybody who still doesn’t believe that Alex Ovechkin is the best player on the planet is completely delusional.
No, not a dynasty, but if the parts surrounding that first line are right, a dynasty in the making.
