…There are still tickets available.

With all this talk of selling out every game, we still have some single tickets available directly from us.

Read this article. You will understand what we are doing. We want to be fair to the marketplace and leave walk up tickets for everyone to be able to buy.

Also, some folks who have bought season tickets and can’t go to all of the games will sell their tickets on the official TicketExchange program.

We do have some tickets to sell - not many - but we would like to sell them so I am hopeful we can move these last few hundred tickets on a game by game basis. Thanks for your support as always.

  1. I agree with Justin – bringing back the student rush nights would be awesome!! They were a great way for students who are on a tighter budget to enjoy the games and fill up the phone booth at the same time.

  2. Like James above, I too bought full season’s tickets assuming that I could sell some of the games I couldn’t attend. I went to the Capitals Ticket Exchange to post my Rangers tickets earlier this week. What I found is there is a floor beneath which you can’t post your tickets. So the lowest price I was allowed to list them at was I believe $60. Well my seats are in the 400 level three rows from the top and there were 36 tickets for sale in my section alone. No one in their right mind is going to buy my seats in Row N if they are priced the same as another fan’s tickets in row B. They never sold and I ended up eating the tickets. I’m just trying not lose money and I don’t understand the rationale behind the minimum price requirement.

  4. I bought season tickets this year thinking that I would have no problem selling the games I couldn’t go to. But I haven’t even been able to sell them for what I paid. All the tickets on Stub Hub and Craigslist are very close to, or even below STH cost. I don’t understand why I’m struggling to sell my $45 face value tickets for $20 when we supposedly sell out just about every game.
