Nixon. Khrushchev.
A kitchen debate.
50 years ago it was drama and great political theater.
Give me six minutes of your time to watch this film. Great stuff. Smarten up, live and learn.

Great little clip, maybe we can take some lessons from this approach and apply it to some of today’s international problems- imagine an American exhibition in the Middle East that would allow everyday people to view glimpses of the US from an American’s standpoint- using Americans versed in Russian as guides was a brilliant strategy.
One complaint- when you press the “Add Film to Facebook” button, instead of opening a new window to share the film, Facebook is loaded in the window containing the film . Thus if you pressed it in the middle of watching the clip you have to go back and wait for things to reload- very annoying.
Hey Ted,
Glad to see the Caps are off to another great start!
I have grown up an avid local sports fan. As a metro area resident I have loved my local teams for as long as I can remember. I went to see Cal in Memorial stadium, Darrell in RFK, the Terps at Cole Field house, and last but certainly not least Langway and the gang at the Caps Centre. Also the Bullets! My father took me out of school in 5th grade to attend the Super Bowl parade after Super Bowl XXII. I spent the bulk of my high school senior trip watching the Caps Wings Stanley Cup. I am proud to be part of a long and storied DC sports culture.
That is why I am so sad one of my beloved franchises has fallen so far. While most of our local teams have not been winners in the seasons of late. The exception being the Caps of course! There is still a sense of hope that a brighter future lays ahead. The Nats and O’s have young players to build on. Gilbert and the Wiz are generally healthy. This is not so for the Redskins.
Ted please buy the team! A dream i know, but still, Please! You are the anti-Snyder. An owner who believes in team building the right way. An owner who seeks create a bond between the team and its fans, instead of alienating them. I could go on and on.
Please save our ’skins! At least talk to the Danny. Something! Anything!
Sorry to go so off topic. It is a great film, I think everyone should watch it!
Who would have guessed that 50 years later so many of us in Washington would be spending our evenings cheering for a few outstanding Russians on our hockey team….:)
