Chief Worrying Officer

That is my new title. I always worry as soon as we drop the puck.

Last night started our new season on the road against a great team in Boston.

We are all excited. We are picked by many to be one of the best teams in the NHL. We have that potential but when all is said and done, more is often said than done.

We have to execute the coach’s system. We have to remain hungry. We have to play with discipline and we have to stay healthy.

If we do all of the above, I am confident we can be a very good team.

Anything can happen in hockey and we have the toughest first month schedule in the NHL. We are excited. We are happy but as usual I am worried. We don’t want to let anyone down and we want to improve on last year. Wish us well. Go Caps!

Here are a bunch of articles from the Washington Times. We thank them for their coverage and for their love of the game.

Oh Please – Don’t Say That!

Please. We are humble. I never said that. The headline writer did that. It is why I blog and talk directly to people. It is better to not have a filter so that people hear directly from you - no editor, no headline writers – like in these two articles.

Geesh. We haven’t won anything yet. We are hungry. We want to win for our fans.

John Lennon? Wow.

We did look pretty good though last night, didn’t we? :-)

Go Caps!

“Fame – I’m Gonna Live Forever”

Remember that song from the film Fame?

Here is a film about a camp that has spawned lots of stars, Natalie Portman and Robert Downey, Jr. to name but a few. It shows the competition and the friendships made as young actors struggle to make it to the top.

This is reality programming at its best, unscripted and authentic. I enjoyed this 65 minute film very much.

As an aside, this month we estimate that SnagFilms film widgets will appear on more than 200 million pages on the web. Wow. We are scaling and growing quite fast.
