		<description>Wow, I had no idea that Mr. Pollin was so debilitated by his illness, and so courageous in the face of that debilitation.  To the end, he truly was and continues to be an inspiration.  So many in Washington owe him so much, and while they cannot repay him directly, they can do so by following his model.  I haven't seen them mentioned in the articles I have read so it would be great if you could blog about some of Mr. Pollin's specific philanthropic activities so readers like me could contribute time and/or money to them.</description>
